Netflix star Clea Shearer's 'agony' during stage-two breast cancer treatment: 'Nothing short of a living hell'

Shearer, 40, took to Instagram to open up about her diagnosis, revealing the shocking way she discovered two tumours in her breast.

Clea Shearer, celebrity home organiser and co-star of the popular Netflix show Get Organised with The Home Edit has revealed she has first-stage breast cancer.

"My bones hurt, my skin hurt, it was hard to walk, hard to see, hard to eat. I couldn't keep my eyes open, but I also couldn't sleep. It was nothing short of a living hell with no escape," she wrote.

Though Shearer publically announced her diagnosis in April, she says it has been four months since she was first diagnosed by a doctor.

Since then, she has endured a bilateral mastectomy, a subsequent surgery, and "the harshest chemo around".

Shearer now has 12 more weeks of chemotherapy and five weeks of radiation to get through.

Despite the long journey ahead, the Netflix show host is looking for all and every bright side.

"I say it all the time, but thanks for being with me on this journey. Some days when it feels impossible, it's what gets me through," she thanked her followers.
